Description
LEECURE 38-239 B is a boron trichloride-amine complex (BCl3) useful as a latent catalytic curative for commercially available liquid epoxy resins.
LEECURE 38-239 B is also an efficient accelerator for anhydride, aromatic and dicyandiamide cured epoxy systems.
Advantages
LEECURE 38-239 B provides exceptional latency at temperature up to 80oC, yet is highly reactive at temperatures above 120oC. It is soluble in both liquid epoxy resins and hardeners. LEECURE 38-239 B does not degrade the electrical properties of cured systems.
End Uses
LEECURE 38-239 B finds widespread use in electric enamels and electric tapes. Other applications include casting, potting, filament winding, pultrusion and adhesives.
