Epoxy Curing Agents
Description
Boron Trifluoride (BF3) is a well-known catalyst for a number of chemical reactions. Leepoxy’s LEECURE B series of epoxy curatives is a family of boron trifluoride-based accelerators. These accelerators span a broad reactivity range and are useful in the formulation of epoxy systems.
Advantages
LEECURE B curatives can be used with common commercially available epoxy resins to provide chemically resistant products with exceptional physical properties. All crosslinking agents in the series are liquid — easily blended with liquid epoxy resin without additional heating.
LEECURE B curatives provide formulation flexibility and can be used either neat or as an accelerator for sluggish systems.
End Uses
LEECURE B curing agents find industry use in encapsulation systems, impregnating varnishes, adhesives, filament windings, carbon reinforced composites and related applications.
Typical products utilizing boron trifluoride-based chemistry include the manufacture of corrosion-resistant pipe, pipe fittings, electrical tapes and high-pressure vessels.
